Welcome to VVChat. These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (“Terms” or “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the VVChat mobile applications (iOS and Android), website (vvchat.app), and associated services (collectively, the “Service”), provided by VVChat (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, installing, registering for, or using VVChat, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Service.

1. Apple App Store Standard EULA Integration

These Terms incorporate by reference the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”). To the extent that these Terms conflict with the terms of the Apple Standard EULA, these Terms shall govern. You acknowledge that this Agreement is concluded between you and VVChat only, and not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). Apple is not responsible for the Service or the content thereof.

2. Family Use & Parental Responsibility

  1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to create a household administrator account.
  2. Supervision of Minors: Household administrators are responsible for authorizing family member seats, distributing claim codes, and supervising any minor children (“Youth Circle” members) who use the Service.
  3. Account Credentials: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. Notify us immediately at support@vvchat.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. User-Generated Content & Zero-Tolerance Policy (Apple Guideline 1.2)

VVChat provides real-time messaging, sentence building, and media sharing tools designed exclusively for safe family communication.

Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content:
There is strictly zero tolerance for objectionable content, harassment, abuse, or unlawful conduct on VVChat. You agree that neither you nor any authorized family member will upload, transmit, or share any content that:

  • Is sexually explicit, obscene, pornographic, or violent;
  • Harasses, bullies, threatens, defames, or intimidates any individual;
  • Promotes hate speech, discrimination, or illegal activities;
  • Infringes upon any copyright, trademark, privacy, or proprietary rights.

Moderation & Enforcement:

  • The Service includes built-in safety keyword monitoring, automated flag alerts, and parental moderation controls.
  • Household administrators possess the capability to delete messages, review flagged communications, and immediately revoke family member access.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

4. License Grant & Restrictions

Subject to these Terms, VVChat grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the application on compatible devices you own or control.

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application;
  • Circumvent security rules, Firestore access partitions, or authentication controls;
  • Use the Service for commercial solicitation, advertising, or automated spamming;
  • Impersonate any person or family member.

5. Termination & Account Deletion

You may terminate your agreement with VVChat at any time by deleting your account. Household administrators can permanently delete their household account and all associated family data directly in the app (Profile / Settings > Delete Account & Household Space).

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate any provision of these Terms or if required by law.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VVChat and Apple shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material modifications, we will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms and, where feasible, posting an in-app notice.
